Traditions come together in new performance
The 2nd Shared Island Forum on 5th December, featured a specially-curated performance by IFI funded, North-West Cultural Partnership, Mairéad NÍ Mhaonaigh and Caoimhín Ó Fearghail entitled, ‘Where Traditions Meet’ which celebrated both Ulster Scots and Irish music and dance traditions, with original music by NWCP Programme Executive Darren Milligan (also on bagpipes) choreographed by Georgina Kee- McCarter.
The Forum was held in St. Patrick's Hall in Dublin Castle with over 200 civic and political representatives participating in-person from across the island of Ireland and Britain.
